The Skinny
The UPPAbaby Vista v2 is a top-ranked full-size stroller. This high-quality option is a versatile stroller that can be used with a bassinet, infant car seat, or toddler seat. The seats can face forward or back to the pusher, and it can work with two of any of these or a combination of seats with a riding board to grow with your family. This stroller has a giant storage bin that is easy to access and has the highest eight capacity in the group of up to 30 lbs. There is so much to love about this amazing stroller. On the downside, this stroller is heavy and bigger. If you only plan to push one child or have one child, it is likely more stroller than you need. Also, it is expensive and could be out of budget for some parents. However, we love this stroller and think it is a great long-term option for growing families or twins if your budget allows it.

Ease of Use
The Vista v2 is one of the easiest strollers in this review to use, earning one of the highest ease-of-use scores in the group.
This stroller continues to impress year after year, no matter what new competition we throw at it.

Fold and Unfold
The fold on this stroller is easy but requires two hands to release the fold lock. It has a dual-finger release that pulls on either side of the frame, and it folds quickly without trouble. It requires the leg rest on the child seat to be folded, and if the handlebar is in the shortest position, it will self-stand.
Storage
The Vista v2 has one of the biggest storage bins with a weight limit of 30 lbs. With a max capacity like this, you can go grocery shopping and bring ample baby supplies for the trip.
The Vista v2 has a bar that runs across the center of the bin and can inhibit what you can fit inside, but the 30 lb max weight limit makes this easier to accept.

It fits our extra large diaper bag, but there is a center bar through the middle on the bottom. There is a small pocket in the corner of the basket for a water bottle or sippy cup.
The straps on the Vista v2 harness are smooth and adjust easily.

Harness
The harness has soft webbing that slides easily for height adjustment. The height positions are infinite. It offers shoulder padding for comfort, and the shoulder and waist straps are one part with a single buckle insert. The buckle is big and stiff but not hard to operate.

Brakes
The Vista v2 brakes are single-action and color-coded. A single red-colored pedal on the right side has a small color-coding window that changes from green to red when the brakes are engaged and red to green when it is released. The pedal is easy to press and foot-friendly since you aren't lifting from underneath.
Car Seat Compatibility
The Vista v2 is compatible with UPPAbaby car seats, and you can buy adapters for some seats from Chicco, Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, Cybex, and Clek.
The Vista v2, like most UPPAbaby products, is well-packed to protect the stroller, and it has an intuitive assembly process with a quick start guide.

Ease of Setup
The Vista v2 setup takes 5-10 minutes and has a lot of protective packaging. The documentation is better than average, and assembly includes putting on the wheels and the toddler seat.
The Vista v2 is surprisingly easy to maneuver on and off flat surfaces, navigating tight turns without a hiccup.

Maneuverability
The Vista v2 performed well for maneuverability, with a surprisingly higher score in this metric than the style indicated.
Most strollers of this style struggle to keep up with the jogging-style strollers we test.
The Vista has foam-filled plastic tires with a wider rear axle than the front. Despite the larger size, it feels nimble and maneuverable and manages doorways with ease.

Moving on uneven surfaces is also surprisingly easy, and with the wider build, it easily manages thick grass. We were able to push with one or two hands on any surface.

The front wheels can lock in place to make moving over uneven surfaces easier by keeping the front wheels stable. It has a color-coded indicator that tells if they are locked or if the wheels are set to swivel.

The Vista v2 is well-balanced, and we didn't have trouble popping up onto curbs. The adjustable handlebar makes getting the leverage you need to push down or lift up easier.

Transporting and Storing
The Vista stroller can accommodate up to 3 kids, so you'd think it was a beast of a stroller.
And while it is bigger than other single full-size strollers, it is smaller for a double seater.
The Vista v2 weighs 28.25 lbs, which is why it took a score hit in this metric. This is on the heavier side for this group, and it is more on par with a jogger. However, in fairness, the other competitors that can be extended for two passengers weigh the same or more. While it might be heavier than you want, it is still within the normal range for the stroller type.
The folded size of the Vista v2 is somewhat small for this kind of stroller, measuring 14,157 cubic inches in our tests. This makes it on the smaller side for the group, with about half coming in larger.
Quality
Vista v2 is a high-quality choice, earning one of the top marks for quality in this review.
The Vista v2 uses nicer material with a padded seat and durable, easy-to-clean fabric. The fabric has a smooth canvas feel, smooth harness webbing, and soft shoulder pads. It fits the frame nicely, and the canopy extends easily and has a tight look that isn't rumpled.
The Vista v2 has a lovely overall fit and finish that is equal parts minimalism and attention to detail.

It has foam-filled plastic tires, which are nicer than the standard plastic tires on cheaper models. The tires are wide, the stance is wide, and they lock in place with color-coding. The attention to detail shows the level of thought and concern, creating a stroller that a person will like using.

The frame is sturdy and looks good with little flex. The design is minimal but functional. The overall fit and finish are sleek and have few exposed fasteners or clunky hinges.

Kid's Comfort
The Vista v2 offers a lot of comfort for kids, earning a high score in this metric. The features are both easy to operate and provide additional comfort for passengers.
The seat reclines with a lever on the back. The entire frame of the seat tilts back, but the leg rest is adjustable, making it customizable for comfort depending on baby size and child preference.
It is a sling-style seat that is deep and lightly padded. The leg rest has four set positions and requires two hands to adjust.
The canopy is one of the largest, with an SPF 50+ rating. It tilts with the seat but is still large enough to offer good coverage from the sun. It has a zip-open panel and a pop-out visor with two mesh peek-a-boo windows. The windows have a flap cover.
The Vista v2 might be more expensive than most full-size options, but it comes with a lot, is higher quality, and can expand to hold up to three kids.

Should You Buy the UPPAbaby Vista v2?
The Vista v2 is a really cool stroller with lots of seating versatility including 2 car seat potential and a bassinet. We love the easy fold and giant storage and think most growing families would love this option. As long as you aren't a runner, it could be all you need. However, if you only plan to have one child, this could be more stroller than you need, and the extra weight and folded size are a lot of you don't see a need for more seating.
What Other Full-Size Strollers Should You Consider?
If you love the features and look of the Vista but only plan to push one kiddo, the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 is the better choice. The Cruz is very similar in most ways, but the smaller size equals lower weight, smaller fold, and a lower price tag. As long as you aren't looking for a dual-purpose jogger, the Cruz is the best option for Vista-loving folks with one child or no need to push two.
