If pregnancy hasn't felt real just yet, your early pregnancy symptoms will be kicking in full force and maybe a constant reminder that something new and exciting is happening inside you. Morning sickness and mood swings can have you feeling like an emotional whirlwind is happening inside. From frequent trips to the loo for peeing or nausea, to the extreme fatigue that will have you naping at random, your body is working overtime creating a placenta to nourish your little one and help it grow.

If symptoms have you feeling overwhelmed, you can blame your fluctuating hormones and increased metabolism. In addition to fatigue and increased urination, you could be having headaches, morning sickness, and nasal congestion. While you can't solve all your symptoms, eating small frequent meals can at least keep indigestion, heartburn, and vomiting at bay. Eating small meals can help keep your energy up and keeping a slightly full tummy can help prevent nausea and overeating at mealtime. Healthy snacking is a great way to get the additional calories you need without gaining more weight than is advised.
