This recall involves Gold Inc.'s Eddie Bauer fabric infant carriers sold in Target stores on at target online. The carriers subjected to the recall are black with grey "Eddie Bauer" and "First Adventure" visible on the front.

Concern/Hazard


The buckles on the carrier can break creating a fall hazard.

Confirmed Incidents


There have been eight cases of broken buckles on this carrier with no injuries reported.

Remedy


Consumers should stop using this carrier immediately to avoid potential injuries. Then contact Gold Inc. to confirm if your product is part of this recall. If your product is part of the recall, you can receive a replacement carrier of similar value or a refund. Consumers must remove and return both shoulder straps and the tag and return them to the company with their name, address, and phone number to participate in the remedy.
